The American Sportfishing Association has sent a letter of support
to SSFFF. Recognizing the importance of the Summer Flounder Fishery to anglers along the East Coast, Mike Nussman, President
of ASA writes....
"Summer flounder are too important
to the recreational community for the tackle industry not to be involved. We need to invest in making sure the science
is as good as it can be before decisions that would jeopardize the sport and the industry are made."
